Analysis of the skies in order to predict the production of a PV Plant

Integration of renewable energies within weak distribution networks in need of regulation of the generation for stability reasons. TSK’s control system, called SISCLOUDS, is based on short-term production prediction. SISCLOUDS makes predictions by using sky cameras and artificial vision techniques capable of predicting and characterizing the movement of clouds and the position of the sun, predicting the future power generation of the plant at different time intervals.
