The ALEASTUR group has awarded TSK Digital Innovation the digitalization and capture of data in all its production plants, including 3 ALEASTUR facilities (2 in Asturias and 1 in Bahrain) and 1 in ESALROD (Asturias). With this project, ALEASTUR not only seeks to increase efficiency through the digitalization of its process parameters, but also to create a technological base that allows advanced data exploitation with the ultimate goal of expanding the knowledge base and orienting decision making towards data.

The project will also include the implementation of an advanced maintenance management system (CMMS). This solution will increase the useful life and availability of the assets as well as optimize preventive maintenance interventions and spare parts management. The selected platform will also enable remote site management and integration with the plants’ ERP/OMS.

The deployment of the solution will be complemented with the exploitation of the data in order to optimize operations and their control, adding condition-based models and exploitation of the data through advanced algorithms and 4.0 solutions in different application areas.

The project is based on collaboration between leading Asturian companies in their respective activities, operating in global markets and with a clear objective of sustainable growth and digitization.
With more than 45 years of experience in the aluminum field, ALEASTUR currently has two production plants in Spain and a third one in Bahrain, organized in two business units that supply the aluminum industry worldwide, specialized in the production of highly complex special alloys used for different technical purposes and/or specific applications within the aluminum transformation chain. On the other hand, in the steelmaking area, it enjoys a great reputation in the manufacture of special refractories and other products used as additives in the steelmaking industry, permanently developing new value-added products for the international market.

In the recent presentation of its strategic plan 2021-2023, TSK emphasized the development of high added value solutions that allow to improve processes and optimize their performance, based on enabling technologies under the protection of Big Data, Internet of Things, Artificial Vision or Virtual Reality. Likewise, TSK has its own solutions that, although they were created under the protection of different needs of the rest of TSK’s business lines, have become exportable solutions to other sectors, industries and customers.
