CS4 (AEESD): Research and development of advanced IT technologies for cybersecurity in Industry 4.0.

This project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the "Multi-regional Operational Programme for Smart Growth 2014-2020" and the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda, within the Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation Plan 2013-2016 in the framework of the Strategic Action for Digital Economy and Society (AEESD).

Digital Innovation

CS4 has the ambitious objective of developing a tool to centralise and improve cybersecurity in Industry 4.0, allowing agile incorporation and access in real time. To this end, a cybersecurity ecosystem/architecture will be created to cover all sources of potential vulnerability to which Industry 4.0 digital developments are exposed and which are currently being neglected. The new cybersecurity model to be developed during the execution of this project will be based on technologies for the security of big data and IoT enabling technologies, as well as microservices structures and DevOps infrastructures, based on the design and construction of flexible, modular and extensible hardware and software that will allow it to adapt to possible technological changes and substantially increase the levels of effectiveness and efficiency of the security of Industry 4.0.
