TSK is devoloping desulphuration treatments for Lada, Velilla, La Robla and Narcea.

Treatment plants for La Robla and Narcea are designed for zero discharge, in a way that the treated water is returned to the desulphuration cycle. These plants have at their disposal preliminary physical-chemical treatment focused on removing calcium and magnesium ions.
 
Velilla plant consists of physical- chemical treatment focused on removing heavy metals and floating solids, followed by a biological denitrification treatment followed by decantation.

The treatment plant for Lada consists of physical- chemical treatment focused basically on removing sulphates below their solubility limits for which there is a combined lime and sodic aluminate treatment applied.
