Photovoltaic solar energy is a way to obtain electric energy via photovoltaic panels. The panels or photovoltaic modules are formed by silicon cells that are semiconductor devices. After receiving solar radiation, they energize and provoke electronic jumps, generating a small potential difference of their extremes. The coupling in a series of several of these photodiodes allow to obtain bigger voltage in very simple configurations and are apt to feed small electronic devices.

At present, TSK is developing important photovoltaic plants that connected with the already executed ones in previous years add up to a power of 46 MW, becoming this way one of the companies with the greatest experience in this type of installations.
